Aereogramme

Aereogramme was an experimental electronic duo from London formed in 1998 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Craig Ward and keyboardist Iain Cook. Their music tended toward ambient textures and ethereal vocals, with songs like 'A Conscious Life for Coma Boy' and 'You're Always Welcome' showing their introspective side.

Their debut album 'A Story in White' came out in 2002, followed by 'Sleep and Release' in 2004 and 'My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go' in 2007. The band's approach was often described as avant-garde, which kept them from reaching mainstream audiences.

Tracks like 'Low Tide' and 'A Meaningful Existence' reflect their preference for atmospheric soundscapes over conventional song structures. They remained active through the 2000s, working mostly outside industry norms.
