Aerogramas formed in Buenos Aires in 2001 with Hernán Montaldo on vocals and guitar, Federico Gil Solá on guitar, Ariel Minimal on drums, and Santiago Castellani on bass. They put out their first album in 2003. Their song 'Azul-Desespero' became a signature piece for them.
Castellani left the band in 2005, and Mariano Castro joined on bass. They released several albums over the following years, including 'Mi Caramelo' in 2006, 'Sueños de un Robot' in 2008, and 'La Lámpara Maravillosa' in 2011. In 2010, there were some accusations about their song 'El Brujo'.
