After Burial Attack formed in Curitiba, Brazil in 2004. They came up playing death metal with some melodic touches, drawing from bands like Sepultura and Slayer. Their first album, "Paths," came out in 2006.
In 2008, their lead vocalist Bruno Cenci died. The band kept going after that, with Fabio Barroso eventually taking over on vocals. They put out albums like "Subterranean" in 2009 and "The Ascent" in 2012.
They've released several more records since, including "Aether" in 2015 and "Cult" in 2019. The current lineup has Guilherme Yamagami and Leandro Caovilla on guitars, Eduardo Campos on bass, and Daniel Matos on drums. Other songs in their catalog include "Revolução," "Suas Palavras," and "Toda Dor."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
