Aftersix formed in Copenhagen in 1986, playing local clubs before their 1990 debut single 'Tequila' became an international hit. The song's simple, catchy melody gave the band their first real break. They followed it with albums like 'Shout' in 1992 and 'Forever' in 1994.
In the early 2000s, a legal dispute over the rights to 'Tequila' led to a hiatus. The band members worked on solo projects during that time, then reunited in 2005. Their lineup has included Thorleif Larsen on vocals, Niels Pedersen on keyboards, Søren Bundgaard on drums, Jesper Dam on bass, and Lars Hansson on guitar.
Beyond 'Tequila,' Aftersix recorded songs like 'Algum Dia,' 'Bluetooth,' and 'Como Deveria Ser.' They released a 'Best of Aftersix' collection in 2000 and 'The Platinum Collection' in 2006.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
