Their debut album 'Anarchy For the Masses' came out in 2002 and included the single '5 Miles To Bellevue.' They followed with two more albums, 'Nothing Lasts' in 2004 and 'The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner' in 2006, before going on hiatus around 2008.
Their songs like 'Aim High' and 'Boomerang' had a raw, post-punk energy that drew from bands like The Cure and Joy Division. They worked with producer Dave Fridmann, who helped shape their sound. The band's lyrics often dealt with personal struggles, which connected with some listeners but also led to criticism from others.
