Agente X

Agente X was a Brazilian duo formed by Vanessa da Mata and Marcelo Camelo. Their debut album came out in 2006, featuring the song "Libra e Escorpião" which became one of their most recognizable tracks. They followed it with albums like Calma in 2008 and Inconstante in 2011.

Their music often dealt with themes of relationships and emotional tension, heard in songs like "Entre o Sol e a Chuva" and "Acho que eu vou Lá." The 2014 album Fenotipo was produced with Liminha, marking a shift toward exploring more social and genetic themes in their work.

Vanessa da Mata's voice provided the main vocals, while Marcelo Camelo handled guitar and songwriting. They blended elements from folk and rock with some electronic touches, creating a sound that felt both intimate and slightly atmospheric.
