Agnes Monica

Agnes Monica Muljoto, who goes by Agnes Monica professionally, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer. She started singing as a child, joining the group Trio Bocah when she was six. Her solo career began in 2003 with her self-titled debut album.

Her 2005 album 'Whaddup A...?!' brought wider attention, particularly with the single 'Matahariku.' That song became popular across Southeast Asia. Other tracks like 'Bilang Saja' and 'Cinta Di Ujung Jalan' are also among her well-known work.

In 2008, there was some public discussion about 'Cinta Di Ujung Jalan' and questions of originality, which briefly affected her momentum. She continued releasing music afterward, with albums like 'Sacredly Agnezious' in 2009 and 'Agnez Mo' in 2017.
