zvìdové hlásí až podivný klid,
každému jasno, co bude se dít,
nepøítel temný opustil sluje.
Zapadlo Slunce v krvavé lázni,
zaèíná porada nejvyšších kast,
nikdo z nich netuší chystanou past,
na zteè se øítí nejvìtší blázni.
Rachotí štíty a zvoní meèe,
nejeden váleèník zahynul v kleèe,
upírá k nebi zraky kdo mùže,
z Východu kdy zas vykvete rùže.
A zemì rudne krví stateènou,
ženy i dìti pláèou a køièí,
Legie Zhouby svìt živých nièí,
slabá je víra ve spásu koneènou.
Ovšem noc krutá znenáhla konèí,
pøichází záchrana, sluneèný den,
a èerná armáda mizí jak sen,
když zhasl plamen poslední z louèí.
Upadly štíty a ztichly meèe,
z vìtšiny mužù krev proudem teèe,
upírá k nebi zraky kdo mùže,
z Východu záøí zlatavá rùže.
Zakleto v trny pøekrásné rùže
vrcholí zbrojení na další støet,
ze zlata møížoví teï chrání svìt,
jenomže Slunce sotva noc zmùže.
Slábnoucím svitem pøípravy štvány
ze hradeb sevøení nechce se ven,
bezpeèí trvá jen než mine den,
a v noci možná povolí brány…
