They're best known for the song 'Mi Florcita Viva,' which became one of their signature recordings.
Their music draws from traditional Andean styles like huayno, huaylarsh, and yaraví. The band included members like Carlos Huamán on charango, Wiliam Huamán on guitar, Fernando Huamán on drums, and Santos Huamán on percussion. They released several albums through the late 1980s and early 1990s, including 'Labios de Miel' and 'Pueblito.'
In the 1990s, the group faced allegations of plagiarism and copyright infringement, which they denied. These controversies didn't stop their music from reaching audiences both in Peru and internationally through touring. Their recordings remain part of the Peruvian folk music landscape.
