Aguaceiro formed in Rio de Janeiro around 2010, with Pedro Gomes on vocals and guitar and Anya Costa on percussion. They put out their self-titled debut album in 2012, which included the track 'Aguaceiro.'
They followed that with 'Tempestade' in 2015 and 'Ritmos da Terra' in 2019. Their songs like 'Se Vier' and 'Caminhar' pull from Brazilian rhythms.
In 2017, there was some debate about similarities in their song 'Caminho,' which they said was coincidental. A couple years later, their São Paulo show was interrupted by protesters who felt the band's approach raised questions about cultural context.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
