Ahndroides formed in Rio de Janeiro in the early 2000s, with brothers Bruno and Fernando Anjos and their friend João Paulo. They took their name from the Greek word for 'human-like.' Their song 'De Volta Ao Amor' became a notable track for them, though its lyrics drew some criticism from conservative groups who claimed it promoted drug use.
They released albums like 'Um Novo Começo' in 2009, 'Dias de Guerra' in 2012, and 'Alma Gêmea' in 2016. Other songs in their catalog include 'Dias e Noites,' 'Esteriótipo,' 'Flor de Bagdá,' and 'Hoje.' Bruno and Fernando handled vocals and songwriting, with Fernando on bass and Bruno on guitar and drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
