Iamfer V formed in Barcelona in 2013. The band includes Gerard Fernandez on vocals and guitar, Joan Verdú on guitar, Eduard Giménez on bass, and Dani Martí on drums. They released albums like 'La Vibra' in 2014, 'L'Incendi' in 2016, and 'Magnetismo' in 2019.
In 2019, they put out 'Perdemos El Control,' a song whose lyrics touched on rebellion and social unrest. It sparked some debate and censorship in certain places. The track found listeners in Spain and Latin America.
Their bassist Oriol Ferrer, a founding member, died in 2017. The band kept going after that.
