Archive material and source history
Air Traffic formed in London around 2003 with Christopher Sweeney on vocals, Simon White on guitar, James Cox on bass, and Dave Horton on drums. Their first album came out in 2007, simply called 'Air Traffic.' They put out another one in 2010 called 'Bloom,' and a third in 2014 called 'Echoes.'
Some of their songs like 'Come On' and 'Just Abuse Me' have that layered, atmospheric quality that got them noticed in indie circles. White and Horton left the band in 2011, which left Sweeney and Cox to figure out how to keep going.
By 2014 they were back with 'Echoes,' which had the single 'Come On' on it. The record felt like a return to the more spacious sound of their earlier work.
