Akeboshi is a Japanese musical group that formed in Tokyo in 2015. The band consists of vocalist and songwriter Riko, guitarist Asahi, bassist Sora, and drummer Haru. Their debut single "Wind" came out in 2017 and became their most recognizable track.
Their discography includes albums like "Aoi" from 2018, "Kizuna" from 2020, and "Aurora" from 2022. Other songs in their catalog include "Sky In The Pond," "Tall Boy," and "Yellow Moon."
There were some accusations of plagiarism around their early work, and Riko stepped back from public appearances for a time. The band continued releasing music through those periods.
