Akissforjersey formed in New Jersey in 2005 with Mike Corvino on vocals and guitar, Kelvin Hardiman on bass, and Chris Lindsay on drums. They put out their first album 'In My Dreams' in 2007, which included the song 'Father Part The Clouds In The Sky.'
Later albums like 'The Love That Remains' in 2009 and 'One Day We'll All Be Gone' in 2012 followed. Their music sometimes leaned toward acoustic ballads and sometimes toward rock anthems. Other tracks from their catalog include 'Dressed For The Occasion' and 'War.'
In 2015, the band dealt with some allegations that caused trouble for them. They kept working after that and released another album called 'The Great Unknown' in 2016.
