Alaina Alexander sang on the 1984 song 'Brass In Pocket' with the band Jets, which she formed with British musician John Sinclair. That track became a global hit. She was born in North Carolina.
After Jets disbanded in 1986, Alexander released solo albums in 1987 and 1990. She worked with Sinclair again on a 2008 project called 'Songs For A City.' Another of her well-known recordings is 'Feeling Good.'
