Aldo Nova came out of Montreal in the early 1980s with a self-titled debut album. The single "Fantasy" from that record broke into the Billboard top ten, which gave him a quick start. A year later, his second album included "All Night Long," a power ballad that became his most recognizable song.
He kept making albums through the 1980s and into the 1990s, putting out records like "Twitch" in 1985 and "Blood on the Bricks" in 1991. In the early 1990s he shifted to working as a solo artist, releasing compilations and later albums like "Cult Classic" in 2005. Other songs from his catalog include "Always Be Mine" and "Can't Stop Lovin' You."
