Aldo Trujillo comes from Tijuana, Mexico. He started making music early, and his first album was called "Corridos al 100" in 2004. That record helped establish him in regional Mexican music, and he's put out others like "El Maquinista" and "Los Corridos de Trujillo" since then.
His songs often work in the corrido tradition, telling stories about everyday life and sometimes tougher subjects. You can hear that approach in tracks like "Todos Hablan Nadie Sabe" and "Lo Que Les Falta." He's also recorded with other artists, including Polo Gonzalez on "Tan Solo Morro" and Fuerza Regida on "La Despedida."
Trujillo's brother Javier has played bass in his band. In 2011, he was involved in an incident where a fan accused him of assault at a concert; Trujillo apologized afterward. His music continues to draw listeners who connect with the direct storytelling in his corridos.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
