Alef Tau formed in São Paulo around 2012, with Guilherme Monteiro on vocals and guitar, Marina Franco on vocals, Leonardo Marques on bass, and Rafael Lourenço on drums. They started playing local bars and events, building things up slowly.
In 2016, their single 'A Minha Voz' connected with listeners in Brazil and helped bring them more attention. Their first album, 'Aurora,' came out the following year. They kept recording, putting out 'Cicatriz' in 2019 and 'Abismo' in 2021, with songs like 'Dinamite!' showing up in their work along the way.
