His debut album 'Viviendo Deprisa' came out in 1991, mixing flamenco with pop in a way that caught on quickly in Spain.
Later albums like 'Más' from 1997 and 'El Alma al Aire' from 2000 built on that foundation. The song 'My Reina' appeared in 2005, a ballad that became one of his better-known tracks. He has worked with other artists, including Shakira and Juan Luis Guerra.
He lives and records in Madrid.
