Aleone Santose Viana formed in 2005 as a trio from Rio de Janeiro, with Aleone on vocals and guitar, Santose on bass, and Viana on drums. They started playing in the local underground scene before their 2007 single 'As Noites Que Voce Passou Comigo' gained attention nationally.
Their music included songs like 'Baby[volte Ja Pra Mim' and 'Desapareça' from their catalog. They released albums including 'Cidade Que Eu Amo' in 2009, 'O Mundo É Meu Lugar' in 2012, and 'A Vida É Uma Canção' in 2015.
Their lyrics and stage presence sometimes drew criticism, but they continued performing. The band's work remained part of the Brazilian music conversation through the mid-2010s.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
