Alessandra Rosaldo sang with the Mexican synth-pop duo Sentidos Opuestos, which she formed with her brother Chacho Gaytán in 1993. Their debut album that year helped establish them as a popular pop act in Mexico. The band's sound was built around catchy melodies and Rosaldo's vocals, which drew some inspiration from pop and R&B singers like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
Sentidos Opuestos released several albums through the 1990s, including 'Amor de Papel' in 1995 and 'Más Allá' in 1997. One of their best-known songs is 'Cuando Alguien Me Amaba,' which appears among Rosaldo's top tracks. Other songs like 'Dame Tu Amor' and 'Esta Vez Ya No' also represent her work with the group.
In 2004, Rosaldo's relationship with actor Eugenio Derbez attracted considerable media attention in Mexico. The couple later married. Her musical activity includes the holiday song 'Feliz Navidad' among her recorded work.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
