Lies

I'm not an atheist, I just don't give a fuck about God

I'm not a Satanist, I don't want to follow a fraud. (x3)

Believe in what you want, but I don't believe in what you sell

Cause a loving God won't send someone innocent to Hell

See, I grew up in a Christian home and was always told one thing

"God created us all" and there was "only one King

Who ruled over us" and that He "doesn't make mistakes"

So I found it kind of odd they thought He loves to "hate the gays"

"Jesus said that it's a sin." "Two guys loving is wrong."

Abomination in God's view." "Look it up in the Psalms!"

"They should be stoned, cold-dead. Everyone that's involved!"

I read the Bible and Jesus said nothing at all

I was only fourteen when I decided to question it

I'd read the New Testament and began reading the rest of it

And I understood that atrocities I wouldn't do in His place

I started being sceptical and ended up losing my faith

The "miracle of God", wondering who would jot this fiction?

Genesis to Revelation, it was full of contradiction

My path to Christ was blocked, but I was still following God

That's when I bought the Koran and then I moved onto Islam

I'm not an atheist, I just don't give a fuck about God

I'm not a Satanist, I don't want to follow a fraud. (x3)

Believe in what you want, but I don't believe in what you sell

Cause a loving God won't send someone innocent to Hell

It was March '09 when I had a switch of faith

I couldn't decide on what was good, which was love and which was hate

I'd read the Bible, it was bullshit and full of atrocities

My belief was getting weaker and my faith in God was toppling

I'd picked up the Koran in hopes I'd find some love and comfort

I was welcomed by the same shit, except with another cover

"Hate the gays"? That's bullshit! Stoning people's even worse!

"Love Allah!" "Leave? You're dead!" - every other fucking verse

What's worse, I started to believe that God was endorsing it

"Make the gays and atheists to end 'em to Hell and torture 'em!"

Man, I couldn't believe that. Then I hit dilemmas fully

Cause the God I knew was loving, not a bitter, jealous bully

Religion's not for me 'til we're treated properly

Fuck any belief that's excluding harmony

Every human is equal, but religion's not peaceful

God may not, or may, exist. But, being honest, I don't need 'em!

I'm not an atheist, I just don't give a fuck about God

I'm not a Satanist, I don't want to follow a fraud. (x3)

Believe in what you want, but I don't believe in what you sell

Cause a loving God won't send someone innocent to Hell
