Alexandre Pires de Souza Gomes from Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, and Rodrigo Ferreira da Silva from Caipuru, São Paulo, started performing together in 2005. They built an audience playing bars and local events before releasing their first album, 'Ao Vivo em Goiânia,' in 2007.
Their song 'GPS do Amor' became one of their most streamed tracks in Brazil. They followed it with live albums recorded in São Paulo in 2009 and Curitiba in 2012.
In 2013, Rodrigo was diagnosed with vocal cord paralysis and underwent surgeries and rehabilitation to regain his singing voice. The duo has won the Brazilian Music Multishow Award for Best Duo twice.
