Alien Ant Farm formed in Riverside, California in 1996 with Dryden Mitchell on vocals, Mike Cosgrove on guitar, Terry Corso on bass, and Mike Krompass on drums. They built a local following before releasing their debut album 'Greatest Hits' in 1999, which included their cover of Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal.'
After 'ANThology,' they released three more studio albums: 'TruANT' in 2003, 'Up in the Attic' in 2006, and 'Always and Forever' in 2015. Drummer Mike Krompass left the band in 2003, and they faced a legal dispute with the Michael Jackson estate over their 'Smooth Criminal' cover.
