Alonzo

Alonzo, born Kassim Djae in 1982, came up in Marseille's rap scene. He started writing rhymes early, drawing from American artists like Mobb Deep and Notorious B.I.G. In 2005, he joined the collective Psy 4 de la Rime with Soprano, Jul, and others, and their debut album 'Block Party' found an audience.

His solo debut 'Les Temps Modernes' arrived in 2010, followed by albums like 'Amour, Gloire et Citrouille' and 'Stone'. Songs like 'Determine' and 'Papa Allo' became staples, and he often collaborated with Jul and Naps, as on 'La Seleçao'.

He kept making music, with tracks like '100 Barres' and 'Assurance vie' reflecting his style.
