Alt & The Lost Civilization formed in Los Angeles in 2005 with a lineup that included Johnathon Schaech on vocals, Marc Ribler on guitar, Gilberto Fernandez on bass, David Payne on keyboards, and Brian Borcherdt on drums. They started out playing small clubs, building a following through live shows before their music reached a wider audience.
Their debut album 'Tequila' came out in 2008, with the title track becoming their most recognizable song. After that release, they put out several more albums including 'Echoes of the Lost' in 2010 and 'Terra Incognita' in 2013, followed by 'The Threshold' in 2018.
