Alta Densidad

Alta Densidad formed in 1994 as a Mexican rock band. Their song "Tengo Derecho A Ser Feliz" became something of an anthem, with lyrics that spoke to social issues and personal rights. They released albums like El Circo in 1994 and Para No Morir in 2004, building a catalog that includes tracks such as "Decidieron Volar" and "Cuando Vuelvas."

Alex Lora has been the lead vocalist and guitarist since the beginning, with José Fors also on vocals and guitar. The lineup has seen changes over time, with Mario Sanchez playing bass from 2007 to 2014 and Carlos Hurtado taking over later. Their music often drew criticism from conservative groups due to lyrics supporting LGBTQ+ rights and criticizing corruption.

In 2007, they faced a plagiarism accusation over a song called "El Perro," which led to a lawsuit that was eventually dismissed. They kept recording through it, putting out albums like Hasta la Madre that same year and Mexica in 2014. Their sound stayed grounded in rock, with songs like "Amor Sin Limite" and "Desesperado" reflecting their straightforward approach to melody and message.
