Alucinados formed in the early 1980s in Viña del Mar, Chile, with Ítalo Mazzitelli on vocals and guitar, Juan Carlos Fernández on bass, and José Miguel Márquez on drums. They released their debut album 'El Silencio de los Presos' in 1985, which included the song 'Go To The Hell.'
That track became a national hit in Chile, known for its direct protest against social inequality and political repression.
They released three more studio albums through 1993: 'El Baile de los Que Sobran,' 'La Canción del Loco,' and 'El Último Concierto,' which included another notable track, 'Miséria.' The band disbanded that same year but reunited in 2015 for a series of concerts.
