American City formed in São Paulo in 2003, with Rafael Tudesco on vocals, Daniel Castanho and Pierre Armand on guitars, Thiago Tedesco on bass, and Nicolas Nogueira on drums. Their debut album 'Razão' came out in 2006, and the title track became a hit in Brazil.
The band split up in 2010 but reformed in 2012 with Tudesco and Armand at the core. They've since released albums like 'Tudo Tudo' in 2014, 'Paranoia' in 2017, and 'Coração' in 2019. The current lineup includes Fernando Almeida on bass and Rodrigo Oliveira on drums alongside Tudesco and Armand.
