Amuka

Amuka formed in London in the early 2010s with vocalist Anya, guitarist Jax, bassist Ethan, and drummer Noah. Their song 'Appreciate Me' got some attention when it came out, pulling in listeners with its straightforward emotional pull.

Their first album was called 'Reflections,' and they followed it with 'Echoes of the Heart' and 'Unveiled.' The music often leaned into personal territory, with Anya handling most of the writing. Another track, 'I want more (Cling on to me),' kept to that same direct, confessional style.

Some critics found their approach a bit too inward or unconventional at times, but they generally stuck to their own lane. They were a London band that made a few records and had a couple of songs that connected, without much fanfare about where things went from there.
