Anarbor

Anarbor formed in Phoenix around 2010, with Scott Miller on vocals and guitar, Demitri Coats on bass, Chris Bedenbaugh on drums, and Aaron Bruno on keyboards. They put out their first EP, 'The Words You Don't Hear,' in 2011, followed by another called 'Burnout.' Their debut album came out in 2014, titled '18' after one of their songs.

Their sound shifted over time, starting with a dreamier indie pop feel and later bringing in more alternative rock and electronic touches. This change didn't sit well with everyone, and some listeners felt they'd moved too far from where they began. After a few years of quiet, they came back in 2019 with a second album, 'Silent Planet.'

You can hear some of that earlier, more straightforward indie rock energy in songs like 'Who Cares' and 'You and I,' while 'Every High Has a Come Down' hints at the moodier, more layered direction they explored later on.
