Anderson RD

Anderson RS was a Brazilian pop rock band that formed in the 1980s. Their song "Só Sei Amar Você" became their most recognizable track, a straightforward love ballad that found an audience in Brazil. The band released several albums through the late 80s and 90s, including their self-titled debut in 1985 and records like 'Por Você' and 'Sentimental'.

In 1988, their drummer Reginaldo Almeida died in a car accident. The band continued after his death. Years later, in 2001, they faced accusations of plagiarism regarding "Só Sei Amar Você," with claims it copied an Italian song called "Ti Amo." Those accusations were eventually dropped. The band's later discography included compilation albums marking anniversaries of that hit song.
