Andrea Marcovicci is a vocalist and actress from Philadelphia. Her father was a conductor, which gave her an early exposure to classical music and opera, though she gravitated toward popular songs. In 1964, she released her debut album, which included the Tony Hatch composition 'Downtown.' That song became a hit and brought her wider attention.

She performed at various venues and appeared on television shows. In the 1970s, she shifted toward more personal material, releasing albums like 'The Turning Point' and 'September Song.' She has worked with musicians including Michael Feinstein on piano and John Pizzarelli on guitar.
