Androla formed in 2000 when childhood friends Bruno Boncini and Fernando Anitelli started playing music together in Rio de Janeiro. Their early years involved playing live shows while building a following. The band's fortunes changed in 2004 with the release of their debut album, also titled "Até Já." The title track became a hit, pushing them to national recognition in Brazil.
After their breakthrough, Androla released a second album called "No Vento" in 2006. In 2008, Bruno Boncini was arrested for drug possession, which brought some public scrutiny. Fernando Anitelli left the band in 2010, and Boncini continued with new members Rafael Vicente on bass and Paulo Mendonça on guitar.
With this lineup, Androla put out albums like "Melhor que Ontem" in 2012 and a self-titled record in 2015. Their music maintained a presence in Brazilian pop-rock, anchored by songs that connected with listeners without dramatic reinvention.
