Andy Griggs came out of Texas with a debut single that caught people's attention in 1996. 'You Won't Ever Be Lonely' was the title track from his first album, and it gave him a solid start on the country charts.
He followed it with a few more albums over the next several years, like 'Freedom' in 1998 and 'Places I've Never Been' in 1999. Songs like 'She's More' and 'Round Here' kept him on the radio. He took a break from music for a while around 2001, but came back a few years later with an album called 'The Good Life'.
There was some noise in 2009 about one of his songs, 'Crazy in Love,' sounding a bit too much like someone else's work. He said it wasn't plagiarism, but it was a distraction. He's put out a handful of studio albums since he started, including tracks like 'A Hundred Miles Of Bad Road' and 'Always' that fans still know.
