Ángel D'Agostino was a bandoneonist from Buenos Aires who became known in Argentine tango circles. He formed an orchestra called Ángel D'Agostino y su Orquesta Típica, which recorded with vocalist Francisco Fiorentino and pianist Osvaldo Pugliese.
In 1941, D'Agostino wrote the song "Yo Soy de Parque Patricios," named for the Buenos Aires neighborhood. The recording became one of his best-known works.
He continued performing and recording through the 1950s and 1960s, with albums like "Ángel D'Agostino en Argentina" from 1952 and "D'Agostino y su Quinteto" from 1960.
