Angelo

Angelo formed in Brasília in the mid-1990s, with Leonardo Ramos on vocals and guitar. Their debut album 'Pedra Fundamental' came out in 1996 and included 'O Homem Prudente,' a song that connected with listeners through its straightforward rock arrangement and lyrics about navigating life's difficulties.

That track became their most recognizable work, but other songs like 'O Semeador' and 'EDEN' showed the band's range within their rock foundation. They kept recording through the late 1990s and early 2000s, putting out albums like 'Álbum' in 1998 and 'Mutuante' in 2001.

Some of their material drew criticism for being too bleak or for touching on political themes, but they generally stuck to their approach without much fuss. The band's catalog grew to include seven studio albums, built around Ramos's writing and that unadorned, guitar-driven sound.
