Angus Stone

Angus Stone is an Australian singer-songwriter who first gained attention as half of the sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone in the early 2000s. Their debut album 'A Book Like This' brought them international notice with its folk harmonies. In 2010, he began working on his own material, releasing his first solo album 'Broken Brights' in 2012.

That album included 'Wooden Chair,' a sparse, acoustic track that became one of his most recognizable songs. Its lyrics about a relationship's end drew some discussion, though Stone described it as a personal reflection. Other songs from that period like 'Bird On The Buffalo' and 'The Blue Door' share a similar intimate, folk-oriented sound.
