The original lineup included Dina El Wedidi on vocals, Eman El Shreif on accordion, Noha Fekry on qanun, and Maha el Said on tabla. Their debut album 'Arabian Queen' came out in 2008, with the title track becoming one of their better-known songs.
They've released a few albums since then, including 'Elwan' in 2013 and 'Al Shams' in 2017. The percussionist Maha el Said left in 2019 and was replaced by Mai Farouk. Their setlist includes songs like 'Arabian Queen,' 'A Humble Girl,' and 'Kali Came.'
Anjali has performed internationally, with appearances at places like Carnegie Hall and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Their music draws from Arabic traditions while incorporating some contemporary elements.
