Ansiedaed started playing in California in the early 2000s, working day jobs while trying to get noticed. Their first single "Brief Term" came out in 2004 and found an audience in the indie scene. The band's debut album was called "Arrival of Departure."
Eric Fredericks sings and writes most of the material, with Matt Harr on guitar and Chris Hoag on drums. They've put out records like "Departure of Arrivals" in 2007 and "Dead And Gone" in 2010. Their 2016 album "A Thousand Years" had more electronic elements than their earlier post-rock work.
Some of their songs include "Diagnóstico," "Drabula," and "Homem Bipolar." At one point there were questions about whether parts of their music borrowed too directly from other artists, but they kept making records their own way.
