Antidemon

Antidemon formed in Denmark with Torsten Ihlenfeldt on vocals and guitar, Rasmus Bomholt on guitar, Jakob Gundel on bass, and Christian Hald on drums. Their first album was 2006's 'Welcome to Death,' which gave them a song that radio stations sometimes wouldn't play. They followed it with 'Into the Abyss' in 2009, 'Shadows of the Black Sun' in 2012, and 'Nihil' in 2015.

Their music pulls from black metal, death metal, and doom metal, with lyrics about death and loss. Songs like 'Massacre,' 'Demonocidio,' and 'Contra o Inferno' are built on heavy riffs and guttural vocals. They've played shows across Europe and North America, where their live sets are known for being raw and direct.

Some listeners see their work as a reflection of darker parts of human experience, though the band has faced criticism for the content. They've kept making music on their own terms, finding an audience in the extreme metal underground that responds to the weight and aggression in their sound.
