Antidoping formed in Bogotá, Colombia, with Juan Pablo Vega on vocals, Julián Bernal on guitar, Esteban Nieto on bass, and Miguel Ángel Díez on drums. Their early material included the EPs "Insomnio" and "Miedo." In 2018, the song "Te Encontré" became their breakout track, a ballad that connected with listeners and brought them wider attention.

They followed with their debut album "Cerca" and later released "Años Luz" in 2021, which showed a shift toward more experimental territory. Other songs in their catalog include "A la vuelta de la esquina," "Hierberos," and "La Solución." The band has kept a steady output without much flash, building their sound around Vega's songwriting and the group's live presence.
