Antigo S.A. formed in Brasília in 1997 with Chico Cesar on vocals and guitar, Adriano Cintra on bass, and Thiago Franca on drums. They released their first album in 1999. Their song 'Beirando o Mar' became particularly well-known, though in 2001 they faced accusations of plagiarizing it.
The band's lineup changed over time. Thiago Franca left in 2004 and was replaced by Andre Siqueira on drums. Later, Dudu Trent joined on guitar. They put out several albums, including 'Beira-Mar' in 2001 and 'Um Só' in 2003.
Other songs like 'Dez Anos Depois' and 'Pra Viver Em Paz' are also among their work. They released a live album in 2007 and another called '12 Anos' in 2011.
