Antonio Duarte & Elizabeth

Antonio Duarte and Elizabeth met at a church event in the early 2000s. He sang and played guitar, while she handled piano and vocals. They started performing together at local churches, eventually forming a band with a drummer named Daniel and a bassist named Lucas.

Their first album came out in 2005, titled 'Fala Jesus Querido' after the song that would become one of their most recognizable. They kept recording through the next decade, putting out albums like 'Deus é Fiel' in 2007 and 'O Amor de Deus' in 2010.

In 2010, they faced accusations of plagiarizing a melody for one of their popular songs. The claims were dismissed, but it was a moment that highlighted the attention that came with their growing audience. They continued releasing music after that, with albums in 2013 and 2016.
