Archive material and source history
Antryx formed in Los Angeles with Alexia Rodriguez on vocals, Chris Adler on guitar, Matt Thompson on bass, and Ryan Brown on drums. Their debut album 'Premonition' came out in 2014, featuring the track 'Waiting For You' that became a rock radio staple. They followed with 'The Awakening' in 2016 and 'Elysium' in 2019.
Rodriguez's vocals and stage presence anchored their live shows, while Adler's guitar work and Thompson's basslines gave their music a heavy, driving foundation. Brown's drumming kept the energy high. The band had a legal dispute with a record label in 2012 over ownership of their music, which they eventually resolved.
Bring Me the Horizon also appeared on one of their later tracks. They kept playing shows and putting out records through the 2010s.
