Anything Box

Anything Box was a rock band formed in the early 1990s with Murray Lichtenstein on vocals and guitar, Andy Chase on bass, and Jake Hirt on drums. Their debut album 'The Great Unknown' didn't make much of an impression when it came out.

They're remembered for 'Living in Oblivion,' a song that connected with people despite some accusations of plagiarism that followed its release. The track became their calling card, overshadowing their other work like 'Carmen' and 'Do You Hear Me Anymore?'

After 'Living in Oblivion,' they kept making music but never matched that level of attention. Their later albums showed they could still write songs, but most listeners only knew them for that one track.
