Apanhador Só

Apanhador Só formed in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1995. The band's debut album 'Cartão Postal' came out in 1998, featuring the title track that became one of their most recognizable songs. Their lineup included Erasmo Carlos on vocals and guitar, Fernando Rosa on bass, Marcelo Gross on guitar, and Daniel Jobim and André Jung on drums at different times.

They released several albums including 'Só' in 2002, 'Vida Louca' in 2005, and 'Mais' in 2009. Their songs like 'Nescafé' and 'Bem-me-leve' showed their interest in blending straightforward melodies with more experimental approaches to sound and arrangement.

While they developed a following in Brazil's indie rock scene, their music remained somewhat outside mainstream tastes. The band's recordings have a particular quality that feels both immediate and slightly elusive, with lyrics that suggest more than they explain outright.
