Apollo 3 was a British hip hop group from Manchester that formed in 1990. The trio included Benjamin "Mushin" Ben-Salim, Andrew "Klashnekoff" Hargreaves, and Christian "A-1" Yates. They released their debut album "Quasar" in 1992, mixing hip hop with rock and reggae elements.
Their 1995 track "Chaos" became particularly well-known, with its political lyrics and anthemic quality. Other songs like "Diabolisch," "Feier Dein Leben," and "Superhelden" also appeared in their catalog.
Later albums like "Sunflowers" from 1997 and "Twentyfourseven" from 2001 showed them incorporating more soul, funk, and electronic sounds into their work. They were active through at least the early 2000s.
