April Lockhart formed around siblings Georgia and Jackson Lockhart, who grew up with classic rock and folk playing at home. They were joined by bassist Ethan James and drummer Oliver Hayes. Their debut single "Different" became something of an anthem, and it led to their first album, Echoes of Dissent.
